What Would Be A Modern Literary Work About Robots?

I’m writing an comparision essasy between classic robot stories to more modern day writings about robots. Please include the date that it was published and any help would be deeply appreciated.

Isaac Asimov wrote many stories about robots. The Bicentennial Man is highly recommended. As are any of the Elijah Bailey series.
    (1930’s – 1950’s)
You could also try any of the Berserker series of books by Fred Saberhagen (all the Berserkers are robots of different types).
    (1970’s – 1990’s)
If you can find any of the series called Warbots, this is also a modern work about close association between humans and artificially semi-intelligent machines.
    (1993 – 1997)
For a different perspective, try The Cybernetic Samurai by Victor Milan. It deals with a software intelligence that uses machines to do its bidding. Can give you a wider look at what criteria does automata actually come under…
    (1992)
    Hope it helps!

    go read some science fiction?
How about I, Robot by Isaac Asimov.
also Friday by Robert Heinlein, I think she was an android.
I, Rowboat by Corey Doctorow and there’s another story about Robots in the anthology called Overclocked I think.
